Ah, the art of moving! Characters stride upon the grid with each step a saga of might. The smaller the action, the greater the tale spun by the storytellers. For in this world, each movement—no matter how minuscule—demands the energy of the ages, known as tokens.
Interaction
Rare, yet often spoken of as great confrontations, these interactions are the stuff of legends... or at least of mild annoyance. Combat or minor exchanges are exaggerated as if the fate of kingdoms hung on them, though in truth, little impact is felt. A push, a shove, and the tale is spun!
Token Usage and the Burning of Power
The tokens are precious indeed. They are the lifeblood of all that you do. Each character holds their own set of tokens, which must be spent wisely. A step here, a word there, a clash of arms—all of it burns the tokens, and once burned, they are gone. So, wise adventurer, use them sparingly, for they do not grow on trees!
Special Abilities and the Art of Unleashing Power
Each hero possesses abilities of their own—tales of great power yet to be revealed! Whether it be the Orc’s fury or the Ninja’s stealth, special actions can be performed. But beware—such acts cost dearly in tokens and may only be used sparingly. Harnessing these powers will alter the course of events in unexpected ways!
